I did what I was told I ought. I went back to the future (apparently) to the archived year or the MOL, 2005. Of course, because I'm Gen Y (apparently) I went STRAIGHT to my birthday. You had just started fork lift job that I've heard SO FREAKING MUCH about. Then scrolled up and found this:

Gen slaY

I can only hope they will get it right. The following is my encouragement to Gen Slay:

mol on work:
you are not there to feel or be "fulfilled"
you are not there to "live out of your giftedness"
you are not there to be "motivated"
you are not there because "you are the front line of the co"
you are not there to find "meaning and purpose"
you are not there to find "family and connection"
you are not there to feel part of a "purpose"
you are not there because of some larger "calling"

you are there simply in order to eat. do the f'ing job, do it well. take home a paycheck and sleep at night

Viva la Johnny paycheck
